The Film Festival of Columbus (FFOCOL) has been evolving every year since 2012 as another source art and culture in Columbus. Ibel Agency designed its original visual identity and continues to support the Festival with marketing and design. Each year we produce a new theme and all marketing support collateral including ads, banners, website support, social media assets, festival programs, tickets and passes.
The 2016 theme was inspired by the road show theatrical releases that were popular between the 1950’s and 1970’s. Through a more modern look and feel we utilized graphic images and large typography to create a sense of excitement. We also wanted to express the Festival’s goal to spur conversation between audience members about the films. The 10 day event was a success with an increase in attendees from the previous year.
