The Global Report is released biennially by the Columbus Council on World Affairs to provide the community with a snapshot of the city’s global connections. We used infographics throughout this document to highlight the global fluency of the Greater Columbus region in a way that is easy to understand. Divided into three sections of People, Education, and Economy, the report includes statistics about global trade, world languages in schools and Columbus’ increasingly diverse demographics. The most recent trifold brochure also includes a large map, which highlights the international engagements of Greater Columbus-based companies and institutions.

Central Ohio Greenways is the trails that connect the Central Ohio region to parks, neighborhoods, rivers, the city and more. It is maintained, and funded by partners and volunteers. The brochure captures the reader’s eye with the use of impactful infographics to give a who, what, and why summary. This opens up to a large map to show the magnitude of the trails in the region. In order to make the trails stand out, the rest of the map was simplified, included only necessary information to give the reader a frame of reference, and used muted tones. The map’s surrounding photos played as a key to the color-coded trails. The smooth, uncoated paper was used to give a light, natural feel that the greenways embody.

This custom die-cut brochure helps to tell the story of how Mid-Ohio Foodbank clients are taking advantage of the organization’s commitment to providing fresh, healthy food. Based on surveys from the Foodbank’s Produce & Mobile Markets, the infographics in this piece show the impact and statistics surrounding the distribution of fresh produce. The unique tomato shape of this brochure makes it stand out and inspired a number of other produce-shaped promotional materials for the Foodbank.

In 2014 Ibel Agency completed a full brand refresh for the Mid Ohio Regional Commission. While maintaining some of the major brand elements, we modernized the logo and developed new brand standard guidelines including fonts, colors and design templates.
The Pantry Panic Workbook is a an educational workbook created as a collaboration between Mid-Ohio Foodbank, The Ohio State University, and college’s 4H program. The illustrative theme and focus on fresh produce ties in with the design of the 2012 Annual Report and the Foodbank’s commitment to providing fresh food. All illustrations and graphs were designed by the talented Ibel Agency team.
