Contemporary Art Matters

Contemporary Art Matters is a private gallery combined with collector services. Exhibitions of contemporary art are presented in the Factory Gallery and Viewing Room spaces in Columbus, Ohio. With extensive knowledge of both local and international artists, Rebecca Ibel is the founder and director.

The social media presence for Contemporary Art Matters features various carousel posts introducing upcoming exhibition and events at the CAM gallery. Educational carousels regarding featured artists and their artwork assist in promoting.

At Contemporary Art Matters, upcoming exhibitions receive a postcard that showcases the artist’s work. Selected artists opt to have catalogs created that present their work as well as including editorials. The booklets also serve as a marketing tool for artist sales.

This website takes a clean, minimal approach that allows the artwork to shine. The gallery’s current exhibition is featured large on the homepage and additional artwork is featured in a grid layout on the individual artist pages. From there, the user is linked to more detailed information about the artist and each piece of artwork.
