Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing took on a new format for the 2017 Annual Report. We designed and developed a microsite that houses all of the stories, photos, graphs and charts that have always been a part of this publication. The site features large images opposite copy – imitating the feeling of a printed spread. A slider navigation that takes the user through pages within a section also helps to retain the experience of storytelling and pacing. Because of the digital format, however, users can now interact with some of the map graphs and watch a video that features the work that OCCH does. We created this video in partnership with Loose Films to tell OCCH’s story for those users who might not be familiar with or have a deep understanding of the organization’s work.

In 2014, the full Mid-Ohio Foodbank Annual Report went digital with a micro-site built on WordPress. Ibel Agency designed and developed the micro-site to be easily updated year after year. This site was complimented by a smaller print piece mailed to individuals directly to provide an overview of the information. The printed piece features digestible infographics, charts and graphs that can be read quickly. It encourages viewers to visit the microsite for more detailed information and the extensive lists of partners and donors. Bright colors, graphic illustrations and modern typography are used to portray the Foodbank’s commitment to fresh food and the positive impact is has in the community. This new dual approach to the annual report had a higher impact on the reader and resulted in printing less pages.
