Downtown Columbus

In cooperation and collaboration, Columbus Downtown Development Corporation and the Capital Crossroads and Discovery Special Improvement Districts have created DowntownColumbus.com. This site showcases Downtown Columbus offerings, happenings and resources for locals, residents, commuters and visitors alike. Ibel Agency completed the redesign and development of this useful, modern website.

Facebook Advertising Campaign

As part of the efforts to drive traffic to the newly improved Downtown Columbus website, we developed a Facebook advertising campaign that highlighted specific areas of interest on the site. The targeted ads featured the food, shows and holiday happenings offered in the downtown, as well as the site’s Downtown Concierge feature and email newsletter. Straight-forward headlines paired with impactful imagery and simple animations created a clear and concise message so users would know exactly what they were getting when clicking the link.

The Downtown Columbus website offers users access to all that the city’s center has to offer featuring extensive listings categorized under Live, Work and Play. The Downtown Concierge makes it easy for the user to filter the site’s content by interest. The Downtown Map allows the user to plan stops around the city. The excitement of Columbus’s downtown is portrayed with large, featured videos and photos and a bold, colorful design. Events, restaurants, businesses and hotels are automatically pulled from outside sources like Google to keep the site up to date.
